Composition
- A Sub-Commission consists of 5 or less commissioners appointed by the KCSC chairperson among the members
- A chairpersons in a Sub-Commission shall be elected by members through mutual vote
Broadcasting Standards Sub-Commission
- Advice or suggestion its opinions with respect to the relevant business operator, or the person in charge of or related to the relevant broadcast program under Article 100-1 of the 「Broadcasting Act」 - Determination and cancelation of it regarding harmful information to youth under「Juvenile Protection Act」 - Matters which the commission entrusts the committee with or requests the response for

Provide the KCSC executing its duties with advice in special areas
Composition
- A Special Advisory Committee consists of respected and prominent experts from a range of communications fields
- Members in the committee are commissioned by the KCSC chairperson with agreement of the KCSC
- A chairperson among members in the committee is appointed by the KCSC chairperson
Special Advisory Committees on Broadcasting Divisions(3 divisions) and Broadcasting Language : 7~9 members for each division

Special Advisory Committee on Telecommunication Division : 5~7 members

Deliberate on requests for personal information by an alleged perpetrator in cases where a victim of privacy invasion or violation of one's rights in cyberspace intends to file a civil/criminal lawsuit against offender

- The mediation department consists of 5 or less members including more than 1 attorney - Members in the department are commissioned by the KCSC chairperson with agreement of KCSC - A chairperson among members in the department is appointed by the KCSC chairperson
